Herbie is a 6 year old Friesian stallion owned by Kate Hamilton FBHS and purchased by her in Holland as a 4 year old. He competed five times with Sarah, winning his first two Elementary Qualifiers convincingly to qualify for the Winter Regional Championships. He then went on to take a hotly contested Elementary Freestyle class of over 30 competitors at Sparsholt College with a score of 76% and qualified for the Freestyle as well. Conrad Schumacher, who trains many horses of Herbie's type for clients in the USA, is of the stated opinion that Herbie is one of the very best examples of his breed in the world today. |
